The above description might seem like a common scene from action films, but this scenario can happen to just about anyone at any time, and thus reiterates the importance of travel insurance when going to foreign soils. Travel insurance should, therefore, not be seen as a casual ‘clothes item’ that is thrown in one’s luggage without careful planning. In other words it is not an optional item; it is a must have to offer security against any unfavourable situation that can be induced due to robbery, loss, death, sickness, etc.
